Pharos is an interactive remote image – data communication system that enables interactive and store-and-forward telemedicine consultations. Connection is established via POTS, ISDN, Internet or any other TCP/IP based communication network. Pharos enables low-cost expertise and high-quality health care, providing quickly and accurately much needed diagnosis or second opinion, regardless of the physical distance to the source of the information that is needed. Pharos is completely cooperative with Issa. Store-and-forward imaging telemedicine is accomplished by a simple click on Send button in Issa. It is as simple as “fire and forget”, launched package will reach the target.

In interactive mode a whiteboard with integrated chat is opened and shared between two or more users. The number of interactive tools is available to participants to share images, ideas and concepts. Whiteboard accepts all types of medical images and enables interactive window/leveling of images.

Whiteboards are stored as documents and event log enables easy and fast retrieval of all documents created in interactive communication.
