Male, 63 years old. Clinical suspicion of Malignant mesothelioma. Pleural biopsy.

Reply: There is no signs of malignant cells. Morphology is consistent with severe reactive chronic pleuritis. Rheumatoid changes or tuberculosis should be considered in the first place.
